I’m Ben del Toro, founder of Abeona, a rideshare company focused on making transportation truly accessible.

I started Abeona to help bridge the gap between people with disabilities and everyday transportation. I saw how long wait times, limited routes, and unreliable service can make even routine travel a challenge.

Public transit and traditional rideshare companies often struggle to consistently meet the needs of people with disabilities, leaving gaps in access that still need to be addressed.

My values as a designer focus on prioritizing UX Research and User-Centered principles to connect with all users and lead to direct positive impacts.

Creating empathetic environments to fully understand people's challenges is imperative to finding effective solutions.

With a background in human-centered design, I am passionate about working on projects related to accessibility and amplifying the voices of all people through design.
